SC Freiburg has announced that it has extended the contract of Swiss defender Jules Kounde until the summer of 2028.
The news comes after Kounde's impressive performances in the Bundesliga, where he has established himself as one of the league's best defenders.
Kounde joined SC Freiburg from Paris Saint-Germain in January 2019 and has since made over 75 appearances for the club.
In addition to his impressive defensive skills, Kounde is also known for his leadership qualities and work rate on the pitch.
