Lyon and Reims played out a goalless draw in their Ligue 1 match on Sunday, despite both teams creating plenty of chances.
The match was a tight affair, with Lyon controlling the game for much of the first half but unable to find the back of the net.
However, it was Reims who took the lead in the second half when Jonathan Ikoné scored from close range after some excellent play down the left wing.
Lyon were able to respond immediately, though, as Anthony Martial headed home from a corner to level things up.
But neither side could find the breakthrough, and the game ended in a disappointing draw for both teams.
Despite the lack of goals, there were still plenty of positives to take away from the match. Lyon's defence looked solid throughout, while Reims showed some resilience in front of goal.
It will be interesting to see how both sides perform in their next games, particularly Lyon, who have struggled recently. But overall, it was a closely fought and entertaining match that didn't result in a decisive victory for either team.
