Lille has come back from two goals down to secure a 2-1 victory over Angers in Ligue 1 on Saturday, with goals from Jonathan David and André providing the much-needed spark for their side.
The match started off badly for Lille as they found themselves trailing 2-0 at half-time after goals from Angers' Jean-Kévin Augustin and Maxence Lopes. However, the visitors refused to give up and fought back with determination and skill.
David was the star of the show for Lille in the second half, scoring twice to level the scoreline. The second goal came three minutes later, when David showed great composure to slot home after receiving a pass from André.
André also had a key role to play in the victory, providing the assist for David's second goal. He played a beautiful through ball that allowed David to cut inside and finish confidently.
Despite being behind early on, Lille managed to turn things around and secure all three points, thanks to the outstanding performance of David and André. It was a well-deserved win for the visitors, who have now climbed up to fifth place in the table.
